Yep, the Lee turret primer seating is very poor. I need to ask them about it.

Well I have spent a hour messing with the RCBS collet puller with no success. One question, I always use the factory crimp to finish the load round, would this make a difference?

I made an error when loading 50 357 magnum rounds. On a cross reference, something I normally do before any load which now will be always, I managed to load these just over the never exceed grams of powder. I do not want to waste the bullets, shell, primers, or powder. I have ordered a RCBS...

A suggestion from another forum was the use mt turret upright as extra leverage with the handle. It work. I went back and re-seated all my protruding primers.

OK More accurate measuring tool, the Ginex is larger. Measured 10 each as a sample.

They are all different brass brands. Even tried new brass. I think paying more for the Federals is my answer, and they are made in the USA

So I wondered about dimensions between the two primers. I thought maybe the Ginex were deeper than the Federal. The Federal ran very consistent .119" The Ginex were shorter running around .116" although not consistent (Measured only a 3 piece sample so maybe measure a lot more.

My 44 Magnums like to shoot them all. I reload 240gn FN with 20gn Ramshot Enforcer at around 1400 fps. Not too hot, all very manageable.
