    Anyone try these GP100 grips?

I am using Hogue wood grips "Pau Ferro" looks just like walnut. Feels great in the hand and I found them NIB online for $45. I actually found that they put me back on target faster than grips without finger grooves.

Rambling of a newbee about Marlin

I too am a member of the Marlin forum. And my 336 is one of my favorite rifles. Reading this thread and all the posts for matching calibers, nobody mentioned CAS (unless I missed them). Matched caliber levers and single actions are real nice for Cowboy Action Shooting. When I get all the guns I...

    SP101 questions

I had considered the SP months ago. I talked to a friend that has one. His advice to me was that, it is easier to find a good holster for the 2" model than the 3". I ended up with a GP100 4" and do carry it often. But then I do OC with it so concealability was not an issue.

    Grips for a GP100

For me, having shot my GP with both the Hogue grips and the older style with inserts. I have found that my accuracy is much improved with the Hogue grips, the finger grooves really do fit my hand well.

    Grips for a GP100

Mine came with the Hogue grips! I must say that they feel real good in the hand. However I am contemplating some wood grips for it. They look nicer. Oh and nice to see that the CCDL members are on this forum. Lenny

Took delivery of my new GP100 4" SS and LOVE it...!!!!

I put a Millet white sight on mine. It is fine for the range. However in very low light situations like HD I would not recommend it. I would go this way for HD......HiViz Fiber Optic Front Sight

    Blackhawk vs. GP100 .357's

roaddog28 The logic behind your answer makes perfect sense. Being fairly new to this forum and owning Rugers (Have 1 want MANY more) I was wondering if your answer is based on actual metal thickness measurements or just that a 44 Magnum would have to be stronger/thicker metal than a 357 Magnum...

    Blackhawk vs. GP100 .357's

I can only speak to the GP, since that is the one that I own. After checking out a friends SP I decided that I wanted something a bit bigger. I chose the GP 4". It was the best choice for me and my desired use. I also have developed a great appreciation for SA lately, however I think that for...

    walking vs decocker

I have had an AD with a Colt (No Decocker) while lowering the hammer, it was a very scary experience!!! If the gun has a decocker I recommend that you use it always! I DO!!! Yes it may fail and if it does then the AD is not your fault. The gun can be repaired to work as designed. Lowering the...

    Custom GP 100 Holster

308longdistance, He does sell on eBay also. And he does spend a lot of time hiking in the Bob Marshall. The rig he made me was a bit of a combination of that cross draw and another holster that he makes. This is made from some of the thickest leather that I have ever seen on a holster. This...
