    LCR Recoil Management

My 83 year old mother has an LCR in 327. (She got it when she could no longer rack the slide on her Sig 229 .40 S&W) She mainly practices with 32 H&R. The gun has crimson trace grips.

    Vaquero- Does Yours shoot POA?

I own 4 Vaqueros. All large frame original type complete with the heinous warning on the side of the barrel. 2 are 5.5” Bisley Vaqueros in 45 Colt that I shoot in CAS. the third is a 3.5” 45 Colt and the final one is a 4 5/8“ .357. They all shoot to point of aim with my reloads. I rarely shoot...

    Question re Blackhawk barrels

I do live in NM and I did see that barrel on eBay, thanks. I see you are a NM resident as well, if you can recommend any shops to contact, I’d appreciate it.

Looking for Ruger Bisley Grips ..BUT SLIM / THIN Style?

I have to agree. Mine are checkered rosewood that I managed to find used. Another option is Bearpaw grips. One of the fellows on my SASS state match posse a couple of years ago had them on his Bisleys and they felt as good or better than my Eagle Gunfighters. https://bearpawgrips.com/

    Question re Blackhawk barrels

I have certainly given thought to trying just to get a similar gun and leave this one alone. Truth is just buying a 6.5” 3 screw gun is financially out of reach. I like the fact that this is a 2 cylinder gun, and I haven’t seen a lot of 6.5” guns in that configuration. I did have it lettered...

    Question re Blackhawk barrels

I own an old model 357/9mm Blackhawk with 4 5/8 barrel. I want to install a longer barrel. My gunsmith has suggested a take off barrel would be significantly cheaper than having him turn down and fit a new blank. I occasionally see new model 6.5” barrels for sale. I wondered if the threads are...

Looking for Ruger Bisley Grips ..BUT SLIM / THIN Style?

My Bisley Vaqueros wear Eagle Gunfighter grips as recommended by Sacramento Johnson. Significantly more ergonomic than the oem grips.

    Security-9 Compact Opinions

It comes with an extended mag baseplate for those who don't to wrap a pinky under. Frankly the stubby grip is why I would buy this gun. I prefer to carry at 3-4 o'clock. It is the grip that tends to print. If I wanted a longer grip, I'd get a different gun. I would be interested in a long term...

    Spf

Beautiful elk stag grips from Grashorn. Nothing wrong with them, just ended up with some nice rosewood on my custom 32 H&R Single Six. Grip screw included. These are shorter than standard Vaquero grips: SPF I would entertain trade offers, mainly looking for reloading components. .45 acp crimp...
