It could be, but is that a grip frame size? The Ruger rep never heard of a grip frame stamped "L". I just want to know what to tell a custom grip maker if I order a set of nice grip panels.

Maybe I missed it but I could find no reference to an "L" marking.

I purchased a new Single Six Convertible, 5 1/2 ", blue steel last year. It was made in 2012. I want to replace the rubber grips with wood grips so I pulled the rubber ones to see what was marked on the grip frame. All I found was a stamped "L" . I just called Ruger Customer Service and the...
