Super Blackhawk Bisley 5 shot 454 Casull

I would love to have that revolver. Thinking about getting one and then I think again about when I shoot my Super Blackhawk 44 Mag and think that it is about all the recoil I want. So now I am thinking probably not. That is a Beauty, enjoy it.

    Vaquero from gun show

Randyzzz, that's a great picture that explains everything. I did call Belt Mtn. and they did not have any and of course are not making any more for the Single Six. But if Ronnie takes over it is possible in the future. I also called Grand Master and they do not have them either. That is where I...

    Vaquero from gun show

I love your collection, they are all beautiful. But that engraved one just makes my jaw drop. Wow ! Another thing is I like those after market base pins. I have the same base pins in three out of four of my Ruger single actions. Would also love to get one for my Single Six Hunter but I guess...

    Maple Grips

That looks Beautiful. I have three Ruger revolver with unfinished maple grips on them. I finished them with a wax finish only. I like the feel of the warm wood when I handle them or shoot them. One is a Single Six Hunter and a Super Blackhawk Hunter along with a Vaquero. Yours really looks awesome.

    Single six 50th anniversary

One thing you have to look for on the anniversary models is the barrel clocking. Several of the barrels on that model had the front sight clocked to the left or right.

    2008 Single Six Hunter

contender, and Dan Thank you. contender, I have never even fired a .17 HMR never had the opportunity too. Hope you pick it up. When I bought this Hunter there were a couple of others up for sale. One a .17 and don't remember the caliber of the other one, but it was not .22lr/Mag so I was not...

    2008 Single Six Hunter

Okay Guy's/Gal's I bought a New Blackhawk Hunter about 1 month ago. After setting it up the way I wanted her I decided to try and find a Single Six Hunter. But to my surprise Ruger has quit making the Single Six version of the Hunter. So off to GunBroker, I only found one convertible...

    Jumping the Crimp

As I stated on your other post on another site, I would buy another brand. Looks like no crimp at all on that brand and just maybe it missed a step at the factory.

High Polishing stainless Ruger six series

I polished a 686 once, hated it. After polishing it looked beautiful, but every time you touched it the finger prints just looked horrible. If you do polish just beware of something that might frustrate you.

My Factory New Super Blackhawk Hunter and Quality issue

I believe they also use to come on a Single Six Hunter at one time. All's you heard was complaints about them, people would say they are hard to line up and not very accurate. I find the total opposite and always Loved that sight set up.

My Factory New Super Blackhawk Hunter and Quality issue

Contender, Biggest mistake companies made to cut the work force is to do away with Quality Control People. They made it part of the assembly peoples job to control quality also. So if they see something wrong they are suppose to flag/tag it or fix it. But there comes the problem. Companies keep...

My Factory New Super Blackhawk Hunter and Quality issue

Yes, things do happen and people make mistakes. The assembly line people are probably also the quality control so when they see something wrong they are suppose to fix it or mark it to be fixed. When you are pushed to make the numbers that a company wants with fewer people, things do happen and...
