Thanks for all the help guys. Performed the surgery today and the new trigger is a dream. Getting the hammer assembly installed caused a lot of harsh language, but thanks to the extra pin tool that I got from Geissele, I got the job done.

Hi..I'm a forum newbie and I'm trying to replace the stock trigger on my SR-556 with a Geissele SSA-E. the problem that I'm having is trying to lift out the stock trigger after I've removed the pin and have it loose in the well. The back part of the trigger doesn't seem to clear the 556...
