well i got these thru some trading and buying and was going to use these on my Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag early on and decided as most of you know to go a totally different way
i am told these came from the first year or second year 357
as these have some nice burl and beautiful color to them...

Well i have had this for a while now and with my health getting worse and worse...i do not see myself using this sadly...it is in very nice shape but does shows some wear and tear...it does need a good cleaning and using....measurements are 18.25" by 13.75" by 10.25"....i know...
well why not try CA glue or some good two part epoxy made for wood......i have used both it to fill in small chips...the CA will be clear but no void and the epoxy u can tint it to any color you like......any pics of the damage?....God Bless,John

it is from a 1956 or 1957 model year gun...
grips are in good condition for the age...they do show wear and tear ..

Well this is a nice older George Lawrence Holster...it is Pre 1963 i am told...77B Black Basketweave Holster for a 6.5" Ruger Blackhawk...i got this for my Dad for his 1957 Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag 6.5" and he decided he likes the 120 Elmer Keith Style holster better...holster shows...
well it all depends on what kind of leather u want...me personally love the old George Lawrence Leather Products....they are no longer made...but well worth finding one...God Bless,John
well another quick update....after much wait...my barrel is back and hass been rebored to 44 magnum....so now i have a factory 4 5/8" co barrel that is 44 magnum....i still have it fitted and will start to address the mainspring issue...but that is for another day...see what u all think...God...
