New LCP-II jams on last round.

Guessing it's the magazine. I depressed mine when new, using a screwdriver. I used a few long handgun q-tips to clean and oil the walls of the mag. I was surprised how black those q-tips were. Follow the wet q-tips with a couple dry ones.

    LCP Custom getting dirty easily

Use the same ammo in both guns - then compare dirtiness. (example) Federal American Eagle 115 grain and Federal American Eagle 95 grain. Lastly, you really can't compare a 26 with a LCP. It's just not fair. One costs almost twice as much. So a quality difference on the insides of all that...

    Is your LCP Chambered?

Always chambered and very seldom holstered.

    Ammo sticking in magazines...

Oil the inside of the magazine lightly. Don't need to take it apart initially. Just compress the spring with a screwdriver and use a pipe cleaner lined lightly with oil..... nothing really wet or dripping. That's a good place to start.

Recommendations for a full size 9mm pistol?

Renting pistols at my range is expensive. I pulled out $20 to pay the cashier and she just laughed. Then I said to her.... "you want how much?"....... nah, I'll pass.

    Home made gun oil.

I was bored today - had the necessary liquids and took the plunge. Here's what I used to make my CL.... not sure about the "P". 2-1/2 (whiskey) shots of synthetic Pennzoil Platinum 5W-30 1-1/2 shots of ATF Fluid 1-1/2 shots of STP (blue) 1 shot of Marvel Mystery Oil 3/4 shot of Hoppes #9...

Anyone care to add a new homemade gun oil recipe to this old thread?

Boring old lube question for my P95 please.

hahahaha turk! In a way, you're right. It's good when used to displace water underneath it. But when rain comes down on a shed padlock we just lubed inside & out with WD-40, it wont take long for that padlock to rust. For unknown reasons to me, water placed over the WD-40 - which was placed...

My LCP and I parted ways.

You better have a good reason,. when asked on why you shot that gun at the distances you're discussing. It will be rare for you to shoot at long distances and be held commendable for it. Even cops in gun battles hardly-ever shoot at those-type distances. Here in Michigan, we do not shoot our...

    Why no LC380 discussions

You can also consider a Beretta Tomcat .32ACP for her. Recoil is noticeably lighter than the LCP and no need for her to use the slide. All she would do is fill the magazine - then use the pop-up button on the left-hand side to insert a bullet into the barrel - then close the barrel shut and the...

    10 MM ?????

That's a caliber that hasn't caught-on here in the USA. Personally, if I want bigger than my 9mm, I'm jumping to a .45. Better control/accuracy than a .40, 44 or .357 I heard the 10mm can create new converts. But no gun ranges near me have any to rent.
