Bought one last sunday,sent it back to ruger today. It had misdeed issues and couldn't get a satisfactory group . Shot about a 2-3 inch group at 50 and 4-6 inch group at 100 . Tried several different kinds of ammo with no luck

I am getting about an 1-1/2---2" group at 100yrds. I have tried varying my charge from starting charge to 1/2 grain off max... Seems to do better on the low side with bullet father from lands.. 30-40 ths out.. I'm using 64-1/2 g of win760... And also tried imr4350

Thanks.... That is actually what I have been trying started with a factory Winchester supreme ,measured o-give and oal and started there. Everything is new and quality stuff ( scope,rings etc ) but I haven't ruled out problems there. Going to start over and try again

Is that you bottom dollar? I'm not trying to beat you up... I'm figuring that after shipping and paying my ffl dealer it will cost me at least another 100$ Not sure about taxes .. That could put me close to 900$ .
