I bought the 3 spring Wolff kit and could only get reliable strikes with the 12lb spring. I believe factory is 14lb so not much reduction. I was really hoping the 10lb spring would work since it felt nice.
I had issues with mine throwing brass at least thirty feet away and instead of changing out the block I bought a kit that had three sizes of ports. I ending up using the smallest port, it functions fine and now only throws brass about fifteen feet.

My .41mag reloads have been flattening primers for decades and I do not load up to max. A recent article in Handloader by Brian Pearce I believe, says that flat primers are not a good indicator of high pressures since the type of gun and brand of primer can be a factor with what happens upon...
I would stick with published data or try Buffalo Bore or Federal Cast factory loads that you know are at safe pressures. A lot of loads over the decades have been reduced as pressure measuring technology has improved.
I am not sure how long the BH cylinder is compared to the GP100 but I can...
I didn't realize how much more cast bullet information there was until I bought the book. I was using the standard Lyman book which is great but I also recommend the Cast Bullet book too.

Jerome Glimm is one person I know who does superb work. His work has been on one of a kind gunsmithing guild firearms. I know him from working together on Friends of NRA committees.
Were the fusions the last rounds that you tried? If so could there have been some powder residue or other small thing that kept the round from going all the way in? If you tried the other brands after the Fusions then maybe it's an ammo issue and you should contact Federal in case of out of...
I lucked out last year and picked up a nice stainless Bisley SBH Hunter in .41 Magnum. I just happened to be perusing Davidson's and there she was. I ordered on line and picked it up a few days later from a local dealer. A week later I looked again and they were all gone.
