I painted the front sight of both of my sp-101's with fluorescent orange nail polish and the rear sight area (about 1/2" in the groove area) with black polish. I notice some people apply a coat of white beneath the orange. Has anyone done it both ways? Can you tell a difference? Just...

What criteria do y'all use for when to clean them? I've been cleaning my 38 & 357 cases almost every time I reload. Seems like overkill. Comments please ..... jack P.S. Same with tumbling ... think I'm doing that too much also. :)

For one thing, I've been "overtightening" the lock ring set screw and that makes the entire ring very tight against the press. I'll try some of the tips mentioned above .... just need to figure out an easy way to get it done. Thanks for all replies ...... jack

Would someone please explain the difference(s) between "Ruger Only" loads and the term "Bisley"? To date, my shooting/reloading experience has been with only 45ACP, 38sp, and 357. TIA .... jack

Will the same dies used to reload 45ACP also work for 45LC? I'm getting the fever for a revolver that shoots both. :)

I bought some Hornady Locking Rings to use with my Lee dies. If I adjust a die, tighten the lockscrew, it's too tight (against the press) to unscrew by hand. Is there a better way? TIA ..... jack P.S. I don't like the "by gosh n' by golly" approach to adjusting the crimp on my seating dies.

I have both. Like to shoot both equally well - mostly DA. Get tighter shot groups with the 3". I like "appendix carry" - a bit uncomfortable with the 3". The smaller size and ability to shoot heavily loaded 357 without excessive recoil makes them my favorites. :D
