I have two SRH (44 mag and 480) and I have been noticing that the stiker plate rattles when the gun is moved around. Is this normal and is it OK to leave as is.?

Sweeeeeeeet. I really like the front site. My only complaint is that the factory built alaskans don't have tritium sites for them. I suppose CT grips would do the same thing. U shoot the XTP's exclusively or do you shoot the Buffalo Bore as well? Is yours a 6 shot?

It is actually as easy to shoot as my 44 with +p in it.

I just recieved my new 480 ruger in Alaskan dress today. I didn't special order it, I just started looking in July and a wholesale house had 3 in stock. I am really surprised because it is a 6 shot. Thought they went to a 5 shot configuration in 2008. I still don't understand why it isn't...

The wholesale houses have them at their cost of around $700. If it was an early run then $700 is a great price. I just found a 480 6 shot at a wholesale house and after transfer and mark up, paid $800. the one on GB this week is above $1200. The interesting thing that I found while...
