I see that Ruger released a SP101 Match Champion. 4.2" barrel. What competition would this be a player in? IDPA requires 4.25 length barrel or less than 3" for BUG. Hip Shot

I saw another report on the web with groups shot at 100 yards by a "reviewer". The best group he shot was about 1.3". Not impressive considering the competition. Hip Shot

Has anyone put rounds on target for groups? I have looked at the professional gun reviewers reports but want "real world" targets / group sizes. Hip Shot

The guns with the Torx screws are the newer production guns which are far more accurate! :D Just kidding - Who knows, maybe they ran out of slotted screws and could only get the Torx versions??? Hip Shot

I tried using both metric and English Allen wrenches. I was able to remove 1 of 4 screws. The single screw was loose. Hip Shot

Today I picked up my rifle and almost cut my finger. The plastic edge where the forend comes up to the barrel channel (outside) has a REALLY SHARP EDGE. I am going to go thru all my RAR's and deburr all the plastic stocks. Hip Shot
