The aluminum in the last post is refering to the BH grip frames not the main revolver frame. Thanks again,

I just purchased a pair of new in the box Ruger Vaquero Birdsheads 45LC with 3.75" barrels in Blue and Color Case finish. I am waiting on them to arrive at my local dealer. It is my understanding that these revolvers are just finised with a color case finish and not actually Color Case Hardend...
