Are you sure you are not getting a BUMP FIRE with the heaver loads?

While you are checking the chamber be sure to make sure that the extractor slot in the end of the barrel is not full of spent powder not allowing the extractor to pass by the rim of the shell. If this area is clogged up the extractor becomes a firing pin and you will start getting out of battery...

I have been having about 35-40 FTF in the Remington Golden Bullet 525 and 550 bulk packs. The problem I have is that the Remingtons pattern better than any of the Winchesters or Federals that I have tried.
