I've had my MK III target for several years now and I am just now at the point where I disassemble/reassemble it without losing my religion. I'm pretty OCD about keeping my guns clean so just swabbing...
For what I use my LCP II for, (personal carry weapon) it is just fine. I've put a couple of hundred rounds through it to make sure it is reliable and now a couple of mags when I go to the range. I think it is the best mouse gun on the market.
Well, I put 2 boxes of target ammo through it today. Absolutely no issues other than I'm just not use to the sites and keep shooting low. I'll find the sweet spot in the next day or two. I think I'll put a drop of white paint on the tip of the front site. For what this gun is intended, sites...
I just bought a LCP II and I am use to carrying my TCP with one in the chamber. The TCP has a double action trigger so even though there is one in the pipe, the hammer is forward in the pre-cock position. Pretty much the only way it can fire is if you purposely pull the long travel trigger...

Off to the range tomorrow. :D :D
I'm considering the LCP II. My current pocket carry is a Taurus TCP. I have shot the TCP enough that I trust it but it isn't much fun to shoot. The trigger, while fairly smooth, is agonizingly long without a break and the last round slide hold back had to be filed off because it would...
