    Lc9s issue

Indiana, I haven't been on for a while or I would have responded sooner. My LC9S Pro locked back 3 to 4 times per magazine when I first got it. All the above suggestions are good, but in my case I was very careful to keep my fingers off the slide lock lever. Also, I was not limp-wristing. I...

    GECO .357 Magnum - Wiley Clapp GP100

Can't comment on GECO specifically, but if the brass is thinner or softer, that could cause more expansion on firing and a tendency to resist extraction.

    Ruger Lightweight Commander

I'm curious about the "titanium feed ramp". I have 1911's with aluminum frames and some have ramped barrels, and one that is standard two-piece. Maybe the Ti is a piece pressed into the frame. I'd be interested to know.

I got a Comp Tac for a 3" SP101. You might give them a try.

    GP100 vs. Blackhawk for strength

There are a couple ways to get some idea of how much stronger the BH is. For one, Ruger puts 7 of the new .327 mag load in the GP and 8 in the BH. The second is just simple dimensions. I just took some quick measurements of the cylinders. There is quite a difference. For the diameter of the...

    GP100 vs. Blackhawk for strength

If Lyman says the loads are for a TC or a Blackhawk, then what is your question? :? A prudent man would move up to a .41 or .44 mag if they needed more power. Maybe I'm just cautious.

Dear Ruger, please bring back the #3

    I like 'em too. It's the bottom one. It's a .223.

    Davidson's Gallery of Guns ?

I've used Davidson's for about 5 years and find them to be just as advertised. The first gun that I bought from them (Colt Combat Commander) had a serious problem with the slide cutouts. I returned the gun the day that I got it to the FFL whom I bought it through and had a new gun the next...

compare Mini barrels, original and new/heavy

I can show some pics comparing a 195-series (ss ranch rifle) to a new all-weather ss series 581. Unfortunately, I've misplaced my measurements. But you can get an idea of what has been changed. The overall contour is quite different, and the new barrel is larger in the cylindrical portions...
