    I switched to a wood stock also. I’m looking at Talon Grips or non skid tape. Maybe skateboard tape to mimic the “checkering”” on the synthetic stock. If Ruger is listening, finger grooves in the wood have been historically used on many wood stocked firearms.

    The wants

    I held one of those and took it home. 400 rounds later I'm still happy with my purchase. Great for an upgrade to an M-1 Carbine. I shoot 123gr to 150gr supers for range fun and HD and general pest control.

    Mini 14 sights

    I did the same thing. Works great! I used an orange Day-Glo from Testors after cleaning the front sight ramp with alcohol. Then, I did the same to the front ramp on my S & W Mod. 442.
