    Thank you both very much. A follow up question......has anyone ever figured out....if this photo was taken in 1955, how 7 of the 8 rss have round gates, as round gates didn't show up until mid 1957?

    Thanks but I need a used factory take off. Like you I don't have the gunsmithing skills to final fit the frame. I have found most of the take offs are close enough fit for me. Bob
