I just set up a 77 mkll 338wm with skeleton stock. I used Ruger rings high and extra high with a 44 mm obj scope. I have plenty of room. You might want to call Ruger and ask them according to serial number what you need

I have one just like yours,4 digit also starting with a 2. It was my grandfathers.i also have the box ,and instruction booklet.also a holster he had made for it. Blueing is about gone but not a spot of rust. My dad said to only shoot std velocity lr in it. I ran across a huntsman many years back...

I have run across 2 M77 stainless boat paddle stock rifles. One is 7mm Mag the other is 338 Win Mag. 7mm has rings and cheap scope ,the 338 does not have rings. Both in excellent condition. I dont need either but the 338 is getting my eye .I figure it will be a big brother to my boat paddle...

I have a SBH Hunter in 44 that has the Bisley grip .I bought it new years ago. What would i need to change to plow handle and SBH hammer ? Son and grandson dont like the Bisley grip--so i might change it before they get it Thanks Paul
