Thanks to all! I originally bought this gun to accompany me in the woods hunting. I became concerned about damaging it and have considered selling/trading it for a newer model. I would be less concerned about scratching a newer model than a nice three screw. But now having heard everyones...

Looking again at the paper work from Ruger, it states "Barrel Repair". But when i called in to Ruger and ask about the gun, they said nothing was on file about it. Assuming the barrel was cut down, What do you think the value is? How do I post a picture?
