Dad was on the Delta AR9 anchored pretty close to the Missouri. He was a CMM in the ETO and then his ship was moved to the Pacific and at some point after the surrender he was assigned shore patrol duties. Came home 12/45. RIP Dad and Mom.
It seems that all M-16 bayonets will fit, but as rangerbob said the barrel ring will sit too far back from the flash hider. Therefore, the solution is to get a bayonet lug extension or an extension for the bayonet handle. Here is a link to a good source...
