Thats why I was surprised to see one this big out here; the nearest "town" is 30 miles away. Good to see the coons and the beavers we got trolling around are doing alright up here haha

Taken while doing stand inventory in some old growth red pine here in the U.P.. Went camping there a couple nights later, thought we heard a bear crashing around while we were out there but it was probably this guy again.

Im actually pretty dissapointed with our snowfall here in the U.P. This time last year we had 4.5ft but this year we have 2 steady. Sounds like everyone else is getting all the snow now. Heres one for ya: spring ice-fishing:

Cant remember the name of the river but its in the middle of the Porcupine Mountains. Awesome place for whitetail hunting in the fall as well.
