    Carrying Spare LC9 Magazines

If each LC9 has a round in the chamber you will have 16 rounds, not 14. I'll stick to one pistol and two spare mags. I am still carrying the two spares in the kytexgear mag holders and don't really notice them in my daily routine. They are very easy to carry.

My takedown has to go back

Let me say up front that I agree this is bad QC and Ruger should replace every barrel with the dovetail cut croked like the OP's. The fact is that the sight dovetail not cut perpindicular to the bore will have no affect on the shootability of the rifle as long as the dovetail is right at the...

Will Ruger ever make alternative grips for the LC9?

Do you want grip panels or a replacement frame? I have never held a Keltec but that one looks to be one piece, just like the LC9. How do you take an LC9 apart to install grips?

    10/22 TD Return to zero

Did you run the nut up tight until it stops with the barrel installed, remove the barrel, and then tighten 2 or more clicks? I went 4 clicks past where the nut stops and mine is good.

    10/22 TD Return to zero

Have you cycled the bolt several times after reassembly like the manual states?

The hunt for the new 10/22 takedown

ACRYLICTNK had them for $319 shipped. http://www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=145117&start=45

    How long?

I agree. This 10/22 is mission specific to me. It is a weather resistant stainless and synthetic 22 LR that fits in a small pack and will go anywhere. I just don't see the point in dropping aftermarket parts in this one. I plan on sending my trigger group off for a Brimstone trigger job ($35)...

    10/22 Takedown Problems

http://www.brimstonegunsmithing.com/ruger-1022-trigger-work-tier-3/ Brimstone is highly regarded on RFC.com. There are also others over there like swampfox who do nice work, but the Brimstone Tier 3 job seems just like what the TD needs; a better trigger, with your factory parts, for cheap.

    10/22 Takedown Problems

My TD trigger breaks at an average of 6 pounds and has some creep. It is also a little "gritty" as they say. I will be sending it off to Brimstone for a Tier 3 trigger job which should make it a nice 2.5 pound trigger for $35.

    10/22 Takedown Problems

I need to check the barrel band on mine. I think I have an aluminum band somewhere and may swap them out.

Will the LC9 survive the M&P Shield?

I will believe the shield is a pocket carry gun when I put it in my pocket to see for myself. It is only slightly bigger than the LC9, but I carry the LC9 in a front pocket every day and do not notice it. I will know immediately when I slip the Shield into my pocket if it will work for me. As...

Will the LC9 survive the M&P Shield?

Mine has the full Galloway trigger kit and the trigger is not an issue.

Will the LC9 survive the M&P Shield?

This video makes me think the Shield may not be as comfortable for pocket carry as it's just a little bigger than my LC9. I would really like to hear from someone who carries this in a front pocket. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ES4j0ix-NGA&feature=relmfu
