Sent you a PM.
I will take it w/o grips providing you will ship it through an FFL and I will pay your FFL fees. I have checked with 3 LGS and none will accept a firearm from a non-FFL holder.
Very sage advice, contender.
Thanks ChiefTJS for responding. I definitely would not jump on the project before talking to a quaified pistolsmith. I'm looking into the advice stage right now.
I'm thinking about buying a Blackhawk .357/9mm convertible. I recently sold my wore out .38 Super Colt and wound up with a lot of .38 Super ammo and brass. I am wondering if the 9mm cylinder is strong enough to handle the .38 Super. Chamber pressures are very close for 9mm, .38 Super, .38...
I found the grip maker----Lone Star. Got to looking in my Ruger bookmarks. Still looking for a set of black micarta bird head's grips for my single 7 shopkeeper.

I recently bought a Ruger Bisley .22 RF (bought a Bisley .44 Spec. about the same time) from Mike. The transaction was very smooth and Mike has great prices. I called in my cc # and wound up having a very nice conversation with Mike. Mike, is my "go to" online dealer now.
I wished I had...
