I could use some advice. I have a no. 1-B and would like to have some quality iron sights installed. After I retire I expect to be out in the woods somewhere and a backup to the installed scope seems like a good idea. Can Ruger do this? Is it a big deal for any gunsmith to do? Or should I just...

Does anybody out there know why some folks are against using a rifle caliber that has a belted mag? I see it said on other blogs as well as here. I'm contemplating my next rifle and I was wondering. Thanks in advance. v/r Dave
