Thanks for the help rugerguy! I compared them back to back to my XR3-RED walnut panels, and they are the same shape (should have remembered the flare difference). I think they don't fit my OMs well due to the pin not lining up well with the recessed hole in the grip?

Maybe. MSRP on the 4.25" is still $1249 though, with the only difference I can see being the grip panels ($15 difference?). Maybe it's an introductory price? Just trying to be sure there's not something missing that I'm not seeing before I order one. Have found absolutely no info on this new model.
