Scott, that is brilliant... I drilled a #10 hole where I wanted the sling stud, masked it off and foamed it...but I didn't "fill it with foam" I just gave it a shot and then tamped the buttstock on my wooden work bench to settle it around the hole. I did use expanding foam (great stuff) and let...

I got the new 10/22 TD today from Gander Mt. ($349.00) and so far I am impressed. I wish it had a sling lug on the buttstock but I'm guessing I can add it without too much trouble. Scope options.... I'm a Leupold fan so I'm looking at the VX-II 3-9x33mm Rimfire EFR...
