thanks for the reply I have shot Browning HI Powers for years and never broke a firing pin, never had a parts failure so quickly. I was hooping for more from the SR-9 I own several Rugers, but so far this one is a disappointment

i have a SR9 that broke the striker at about 1600 rounds is that a common thing? I have sent it back to Ruger. i like the feel and features of the SR9 but am disappionted with the trigger pull
