I found a Ruger mini-14 today at a gun show. It had the external bolt release button so I think it was a 180 series. It had wood on the topside of the gun and not plastic. It also had a two inch flash supresor like on a M-14. Price was $469.00. What can you guys tell me to look for on these...

You need to decide what features you like most between the two. For me it is the P95, I like having an external safety, hammer, decocker, and normal trigger. I have never owned a SR9 and am sure it is a fine pistol, but I don't like the type of trigger that is in the SR9 so its not for me...

I also vote the grease is your problem. Are your other guns poly? I know the P89 isn't. I just bought a P95 a few days ago. I brought it home, and disassembled it, wiped it down with a Rem Oil wipe, cleaned the barrel, then went out shooting. Almost every round stovepiped or failed to feed. I...
