Just a quick reply to help others. I ordered some Hogue wood grips and they are extremely huge. My hand is 9 inches from pinky to thumb tip (I normally wear an XL glove) and I have a hard time getting a grip. The wide part on the grip is so far down that your hand is lowered much further below...

Gotta thank you for the recommendation on these. They fill my hand almost perfectly. They're certainly not as pretty as wood, but I enjoy shooting them much more than looking at them. I'll use these as a baseline when I start looking for wood. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I use the Hogue Rosewood Laminate grips and I am happy with them. The original grips were too small for me, and the Hogue monogrip was too tacky when wearing, and it was too squishy for me. The wood grips fill my hand much better. and I love shooting it. Have to say, I love how it looks, too...
