always wanted a .41 GP, thought it would be perfect companion to the various blackhawks (and the Henry Big Boy) laying around. Didn't really want to go the custom route. Sort of gave up when I recently came across a 5" Blue 10mm auto. Not quite a .41 but REALLY liking it. It's a keeper.

At 1100fps you should be fine. I would probably use a 50/50 Range Lead or Pure to WW rather than straight WW. Slug your bore, size .0005-.001 over groove diameter. I'll refrain from "advertising" but if you PM me I'll be glad to share what Lube I am using.

I have the Lee 476-400-RF mold, it is Plain Base. Not sure if it is available in Gas Check Form. I have pushed them fairly hard without issues in my .480's. Not as hard as a couple of Gas Check molds I have but when you get a chunk that big moving you don't necessarily need Uber-Goober Velocity...
