I get pierced primers in the .327 only when using Remington primers. I switched to CCI and all is well.

The firing pin indent does not indicate it was fired in a Glock. I believe Glock firing pins are rectangle shaped at the tip. Yes/ no ?

I have two of the RCBS hand priming tools, the ones that use regular shell holders. I have always been happy with them.

I have several convertibles. All cylinders are marked with the last three numbers of the SN from the factory. One exception is a .45 ACP SS cylinder I purchased online and found it to be a perfect fit to one of my stainless Ruger Bisley BH’s. That reminds me, I need to dig it out and go shoot it !

Small rifle primers are recommended. I do use small pistol primers when loading Cast bullet loads for my Ruger BlackHawk and lower pressure loads.

The.45 Colt cases fit flush with the case rim against the cylinder face. The moon clips are thinner than the old Colt style clips. And do not interchange with any old style clips. But the Ruger clips don’t require any special tools to load and unload. They are more expensive though. I only have...

I just finished testing some .45 Colt starting level 200 gr. cast bullet loads Using HP-38 and Hodgdons data. 200 gr. Lee RNFP over 5.9 HP-38 , WLP Primer. A very accurate soft shooting but DIRTY load. This is a very good load for use in my Uberti 1858 Remington with Howell conversion cylinder.

If that “real old single six” is a three screw, I’d keep it the way it is. Call Ruger service on the GP.

Duct tape. Ruger needs to know about this and have the opportunity to correct the problem.

Mixed . I resize and drop them in a case gauge. If they fit in the gauge they are good to go ,expand and load em up. Forgot to say I load single stage. Retired and in no hurry.

I like steel , both carbon and stainless.
