Take a 22 Magnum and test fit in each Cylinder, the Mag should not fit in the 22LR Cylinder........................

Anodizing should not create any problems or you should be able selectively just Anodize the outside of the receiver. Car and Bike guys have that done all the time......................

Kudos to Ruger for the MkIV and giving the people what they want, but does that mean I'll be ditching my MkIIIs? No way Jose! Me loves me MkIIIs and I will add a MkIV someday after it's been proven and the price drops a tad bit......................

Nice Kids you got there. I'm done buying Big Bore Guns for awhile, now I'm collecting MkII/IIIs. I have two, but I'm looking at adding two or three more and maybe another 10/22........................

I have a couple of "warts" on my Stock, will call Ruger and get their take on it. It's very minor, not something I can't fix but I shouldn't have to. I'm also not too keen on the Front Rifle Swivel/ Barrel Band, seems almost china cheap and that plastic butt plate, that should have been metal...

Would not Black Anodized Aluminum look better and is that not the original finish? I really don't like the powder coat (cerakote?) on my 10/22.................................

Dayum, just when I got my MkIIIs the way I want them. Am I going to end up with a MkVI, more than likely but I'll keep on shooting my MkII I/II. On the bight side, used MkIIIs will be cheap and I can convert them to MkII I/II :mrgreen: ..................................

Here's a quick snap of my Rifle, not much to say, it's a 10/22. Well here it is 30 years later, a 10/22 in my Stable once again. The two little things I don't like about it is the plastic Trigger and Powder Coat Receiver. I can deal with the plastic Trigger Guard but a plastic...

Looks Great to me. What do you have to do to your MKII to fit the 22/45? Or is that a MKI Grip frame.............
