I have a friend who has a Ruger 22 auto that has a S on it. I believe these are what collectors refer to as "seconds". Has Original mag, no box. It is in very nice shape and he wanting to sell. Could someone give me an idea of what their going for?

I also have to praise their service. I recently bought a Ruger Gunsite Rifle and misplaced the scout mount and screws. I called about getting a replacement and they just asked for my name and address. A week later I had a new scout mount and screws," No Charge". That's what I call service.

I have a question. Did Ruger mark the inside of the Grips on their Handguns with the guns serial number as did Smith& Wesson?

Could someone tell me approx how many of each Barrel length of Flat top .44 mags Ruger made. 6 1/2". 7 1/2" and 10" Also how much would a shooter grade 6 1/2" flat top 44 be worth. There is one at a local gunshop on consignment for $650.00....good/ bad?
