I've got a good friend who is a fantastic engraver and I'm looking to get a stainless vaquero for him to work his magic on...prefer 4 5/8" bbl but would take a 5 1/2...thought I'd see what was available before I paid full price for a new one... Thanks Chase

The barnes ammo won't reliably fire in my rifle. I shipped the rifle. Ack to Ruger and they sent me a new one and it still won't reliably fire the ammo. They don't recommend the barnes ammo so I'm looking for something else to shoot in it.

I've got a RAR in 300 Blackout that won't shoot my first choice of ammo, the Barnes Vor-Tex line. I'm wondering if anyone with some experience with this rifle has any suggestions of factory ammo that has shot well for them. I'm looking for a hunting round... Thanks in advance for your help... Chase
