    OK to clean semi-auto barrel by immersing it in cleaning fluid?

    I soak mine in Hoppes. Brush it with old toothbrush. Wipe down n lube.

    I have one. Works as advertised. The hard part is fitting the cylinder. Easy to over do ever so slight metal removal on gas ring.

    The OM XR3 grip frame was painful to shoot in my 44. I swapped in a XR Red. Just to let you know.

    I had Doug ream my .45 cyl. Perfection. Fermin will be excellent, too.

    Apparently, there are varying tolerances within Ruger’s chambering techniques. Some are just incorrect. My tang safety M77R in .270 from 1980 would cause case head separation with factory Hornady ammo. So they screw up sometimes.
