It's not exactly what I'm after, but it's close.
Unfortunately the gestapo will not allow FFL's to receive handguns from non FFL's. "No, it's not the law, but if you do it we'll yank your state dealers license and you'll be out of business."

Appears to have cheated people on several forums. Watch out folks.

I was shopping for one thing and bought this on an impulse instead. So it was sort of doomed from the start. And like I often do, instead of getting out quick, I kept digging myself deeper into the hole. Rather than cut my losses, I kept throwing money at it.
Spent LOTS of time on it. Bothered...
Any aftermarket springs I ever put in a Ruger single action, I ended up taking out and throwing away.
Mushy weak trigger returns and slower hammer falls. (and they're none too fast to begin with)
Mine went to Ruger twice and was no better for it.
I refused to dump a dog on someone else so I kept throwing money at it. Ended up having adjustable sights added, later selling it for half what I had in it. I should have cut into pieces from the start and thrown them away.
Even with the right holster that made it totally safe to carry that way, unholstering, and probably worse, re-holstering would be hairy IMO.
I've had occasion to accidentally end up with a loaded and cocked, safety off, semi auto in a holster, and because of the design of gun/holster. no way...
A tiny little dollop of clear silicone adhesive.
Silicone is the thinking man's duct tape. :D
Though Hondo's way would be the right way to make the wrong thing right. :)
(I've had one S&W with no grip screw, just silicone, for about 20+ years now) ;)
