That laminate that Ruger uses can look really pretty with a high gloss finish on it. Here are a couple sets of gunfighter style grips that I made.

Here is a pair of Rams Horn grip I made. I fitted them to his frame. Sorry I never got to see them on a whole gun. When dealing with rams horn, if you can get scales thick enough, you can sand off all the bark making a smooth set of grips that I think are really pretty.

Not so. This line of grips was thoroughly feild tested. The direction of the hair keeps the gun from rolling up too far in your hand so you're ready for your next shot. :rolleyes:

Very cool. But, I'd be afraid to shoot with them. I would not like to lose one of those rubies. Where would you get another?

You may be thinking about my Fuzzy Grip line. Unfortunately I had to shut down my Fuzzy Grip line. People in my neighborhood started complaining about their cats disappearing.

Me and my girlfriend are pretty friendly with each other. We really don't require weapons.

Zane, Thanks for the recognition. Sounds like you got started the same way I did. One never knows what they can do until they try. Just think of how many excellent pairs of grips never got made just because the person was too scared to try. I've always admired your work. What a great post.

A little old school but my bayonets are bigger !

The SBH Hunter takes XR3-RED grip panels. Sorry, I had to come back to edit this. It's been a long time since I was making grip panels. The SBH Hunter model does indeed take the larger SBH panels. The only different with the Hunter grip frame is that it has the round trigger guard instead...
