PC9 Problem - It went burrrrrrrp on me today...

UPDATE The PC9 arrived back from Ruger today. I installed a Welgand RANCHP picatinny mount, and a BURRIS Fastfire III reflex red dot, then took off to the range to sight it in. Support replaced: sear spring, sear spring plunger, and sear interrupter spring. There is a small amount of take...

PC9... trying to determine if I should keep it or sell it

I just today received my PC9 back from Ruger support (trigger work, see another thread...) I installed a Welgand RANCHP picatinny mount, and a BURRIS Fastfire III reflex red dot. Pretty darn accurate at 50 yds sighting it in today. Will try 75 and 100 yds as soon as I can get back to the...

PC9... trying to determine if I should keep it or sell it

If it has been languishing in your gun safe for 13 years, I'd sell it. To me. Mine is out for trigger work, but I love it and will keep it. When I bought mine a few months ago, NIB PC9's were going for $700+ on auction sites. Good luck.

    PC9 mount options

Team, I would like to mount a RD reflex sight, like a medium quality Fastfire 3, on my PC9. What mounts are folks happy with? So far I've found: This for $50: http://www.jackweigand.com/ranch.html and this: http://www.jackweigand.com/ranch.html Thanks.

Update: Talked to the folks at Ruger (Arizona site does carbine support) today about my issue. Once the tech who works on carbines returned from the range, he game me a call. My fears of no support, no parts, no return, loosing my investment in this firearm, all premature! The parts for...

PC9 Problem - It went burrrrrrrp on me today...

Thanks guys. Smithy it is. I belong to a private range. Two others were there, one thought it was cool and he would keep it as is, the other was trying to get his AR pistol project to cycle and suggested a worn sear. We all ended up staring at it like a bunch of good ol' boys staring under...

PC9 Problem - It went burrrrrrrp on me today...

Team, Took my used, new to me, PC9 to the range for the first time today after I field striped and cleaned it for perhaps the first time in it's life. Four magazines and a few fail to extracts, will worry about that later. Magaizine 5, bang, bang, burrrrrrrrrrp of about 5 rounds. Any advice...
