    22/45 Lite Question

And make sure you use blue Loctite, or even better, purple Loctite. And be sure to degrease the screws and the threaded holes before you apply the Loctite. If you use red Loctite, you will likely never be able to remove the screws again.

Do you have a link? This is all I could find, and it was $100: http://gallowayprecision.com/ruger/lc9-and-lc380/35-percent-shorter-stroke-trigger-bar-for-ruger-lc9-lc380/

    LC9 questions

I agree. It's all about training. And I don't just mean range time. I train a few times a week at home using snap caps. It's important to build muscle memory for your draw and sight picture. I have trained myself to draw and as I'm bringing the pistol up to get my sight picture I disengage the...

Ruger LC-9 Slide does not lock back!

I tried that on my nine-rounders that I returned. It helped on 3 of the mags, but as you mentioned, that will only be a temporary fix. I also had what I consider to be a severe issue with the nines. While in my holster, the magazine would release. Draw, and the magazine dropped. I use the same...

Ruger LC-9 Slide does not lock back!

Are you using a nine-round LC-9 magazine? (It looks like a nine-rounder in the background of your photo.) If so, that is likely the problem. I had similar issues with the factory nine-round mags. Do you have a 7 round mag you can test it with? Also, I noticed that the nine-round mags are...

Ruger LC-9 Slide does not lock back!

It sounds to me like the magazine follower may have a little resistance. (It is the magazine follower that engages the slide lock mechanism.) I would pull your magazine apart and clean the internals well. Also look for any flashing on the plastic follower.

New LC9 9 round extended mags

Update on my LC9 nine-round magazines: Ruger sent me 4 new magazines in exchange for the 4 that didn't work. I had the same issues with the new ones. So that is 8 nine-round factory magazines that did not function properly in my LC9. I called Ruger again, and they exchanged my nine-round...

Yes. No. Just drilled and tapped mounting holes. A proprietary picatinny rail that comes with the rifle.

    Ruger mini-14 ranch rifle

That is a fair price. They can be difficult to find. I recently bought another Ranch Rifle, and it took my local gunstore about a month to find one for me. (I paid $750 for mine.)

Fleet Farm Ammo buyers: A heads up

I disagree. Just because you happened to time it right and were able to find a few bulk packs does not mean it's getting better. It was just luck. I shop locally for .22LR 3-4 days per week. Once in awhile I get lucky and find a bulk pack, too.

    22/45 mag ?

Actually, that notch near the top of the magazine is to make sure the magazine is seated properly. A small extension on the back of the trigger engages that slot and forces the magazine up. An easy remedy is to remove the trigger and grind (I use a dremel) that extension off of the back of the...

Looking for a 581 series Mini 14 flash suppressor

Sort of. The Choate flash hiders are held on by a pin along the bottom of the barrel (instead of the top of the barrel like the factory sight.) So you have to drill an entirely new hole (technically half of a hole, or a groove) along the bottom of the barrel. And this is very tough to do on a...
