    new LC9

Mine is #320-531XX and has a pinned front site, and has been back for a new firing-pin and spring. First 250 rds a least 15-20 lite strikes, cleaned every time it was fired,so far 250-275 rds have fired since it came back.

    New LC9 Owner

I feel the same way if my LC9 fails in any way it goes back to Ruger then its gone! I bought it for CCarry not target practice or plinking. If I ever have to pull my weapon in defence of my life or my wife's I want it to FIRE!!! I personally think from reading this forum to many LC9s are going...

    New LC9 Owner

I agree, Its compact and easy to conceal and with some practice very accurate for me at 10-15 yards. I would suggest running 100-200 rds thru it before you use it for CC carry.

LC9 Unexpected (yet welcomed) repairs by Ruger

Ruger Service replaced my firing pin and spring and it looks like they champhered the firing-pin hole. I wonder if the new firing- pin is not longer than the old one, they sent the old one back but I don't want to take the new one out to measure it. Anyway its firing every time now.

LC9 Unexpected (yet welcomed) repairs by Ruger

    what was your first revolver?

H&R 22 nine shot in 1962,shot it a lot and traded for a Blackhawk 357 in 1968,which is when I started reloading.

    LC9 Mag popping out

600 + rds fired in my LC9 and the mag. has never dropped out. I can get a little back and forth movement, but hardly any side to side.

    Reloading die question.

I just ran into that problem last spring with 40 S&W range brass that would not chamber fully in my SpringField XDM. I purchased a EGM chamber checker from Dillon and sorted the brass, which I'll use in my Glock 40 S&W for now. I plan to get a Lee Die later.

Would you buy the LC9 again if you could do it over

The Jury is still out for me, 300 rds fired with lots of lite strikes, sent back to Ruger. After I got it back about 300rds fired no problems yet, and I hope I don't. I like it and want to keep it,if its realiable.

LC9 I cant believe Ruger actually missed this problem!!!

I agree the LC9 is mainly for concealment carry, which it does very well, and accurracy is good and I can get use to the trigger pull, and the price is right. I just want it to GO BANG when my life is on the line. I need a few more rds thru first. I have other handguns for range practice.

LC9 I cant believe Ruger actually missed this problem!!!

I think Ruger has a Big Problem with quality control, I had to send my LC9 back to Ruger for lite strikes, and since I got it back its fired every time 250-275 rds. I would think they would send you a new LC9,they need to spend more time on inspection of parts and final inspection. I have been...
