    What’s it worth?

That's just plain insulting. They could at least make you an offer. I'd give you $100 for it all day long (assuming it's in newish condition). Now that's some helpful wisdom right there. After you kick the bucket and your heir takes them into a gun shop... Heir: "I have all these Ruger P...

What is the difference between a clone and a replica?

Words have different meaning depending on the context. Based on the definition of clone that you've used, there would be no gun clones at all. I just wanted to point out that when it comes to guns, there is no set definition regarding what a clone is. When it comes to computers, according to...

What is the difference between a clone and a replica?

I'm a big fan of the CZ75 and the other pistols that were inspired by it that have inverted rails. I have a good number of them. Most of the people that are really in to these pistols would consider the Tanfoglio, Jericho, SAR, etc. to be clones. In fact, the primary forum for CZ firearms...

    KP95DAO $249

I paid $220 for mine at a LGS back in the '90's. It feels kind of clunky and the sight dots are small, but it runs 100%. I keep it as my defensive gun at work. It still looks like new. Even the colored dot stickers are still on it.

What is the difference between a clone and a replica?

So would y’all consider a Tanfoglio Witness, IWI Jericho or a SAR B6 clones of the CZ75?

    Converting a 9mm to 38 Super

Some 1911's and other pistols do that. It's odd, but not really a problem unless it causes a reliability issue.

    Reliability problem with AC556F

No. I've tried both factory loaded 223Rem and factory loaded 5.56x45 without a difference in the results.

    Reliability problem with AC556F

Three weeks ago I swapped all the bolt components between the rifles. It didn't make a bit of a difference. The old AC556F ran 100% and the new one still had the same extraction, ejection and hesitation issues. I then swapped the bolt components back to their original rifles and then swapped...

    Reliability problem with AC556F

I previously purchased some factory recoil springs, so I installed a new one in the new (problem child) AC556F when I reassembled it. I took both out shooting today. It seems that my memory regarding the spent case ejection distance was incorrect. Both generally seemed to eject the same...

    Reliability problem with AC556F

I have new recoil springs, so I can give it a try. I'm just thinking that if it's short cycling, the new recoil spring is only going to make it worse. The short distances that it's throwing the spent cases makes me think that it's not getting enough gas. If the action is cycling too fast...

    Reliability problem with AC556F

I field stripped my first AC556F so that I could compare the two. As you can see from the picture below, it has significantly more carbon residue. Of course that's where the gas comes out and hits the piston, so that's to be expected. There's no way to tell with this one if there's any...

    Reliability problem with AC556F

Yes, this piston seems to move just fine. I did notice that the four allen head screws on the front sight / gas block assembly don't seem to be screwed in the same amount. The forward ones seem to be screwed in more. I unscrewed them and found that one of the rear ones was very tight, while...

    Reliability problem with AC556F

I field stripped it, cleaned it (no shooting residue found), lubricated it and reassembled it prior to shooting it.

    Reliability problem with AC556F

I have an AC556F that I've had for a couple of years. It was actually my first machine gun. I'd say that it's in very good to excellent condition and it runs 100%. About nine months ago I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase several machine guns from an estate as a package deal. Part...

    Light weight Commander 9mm

The is no cure as far as I know. I have a couple of other pistols that do the same thing.
