Guys,
I have a P-95 with the insignia on the smooth grip panels painted in red behind the eagle. I was told this was a Bill Ruger commemoritive gun. Can you shed some light on this pistol with the multicolored grip insignia?
Thanks,
BB
Of all single actions ever made the flattop is the best looking of them all. There is just something about the lines that, at least to me, just cannot be equaled. I love those flattops and congrats to you on your find. Thanks again for sharing.
For plinking this Gann Custom is a death ray .45 with 250 SWC and 8 grains of Unique. This is the one for just having fun and enjoying a day of pleasent plinking.
This .44 Clements Custom is my everyday woods gun. This would be the one for all weather everyday use. If I am in the woods, this...
I guess I would have to pick this one. A 1955 Flattop converted to .44 Special by Mr. Bowen. Mr. Fishpaw did the ivories. This will always be my favorite.
Has Ruger removed the New Vaquero roll mark off of the gun? Also, was the original Vaquero offered in Ruger's catalog in 2006?
If Ruger offers the .44 spl in the Vaquero, I would stand in line to buy one.....We can only hope.
The mid-size steel frame and cylinder are scaled-down to the same size as the original 1955 Ruger Blackhawk®, closely resembling the classic single-action revolvers of the late 1800's...
Revolver time,
I know you think I am trying to ba a know it all but I have had many Rugers and several Smith & Wessons replaced over the years and I have never had to run it through a dealer to get my gun back. As long as you are dealing with the factory they can send it straight to you...
You could have shipped it them your self and they in turn could send it back to your home with no transfer fees. I just did that and I also asked them for a shipping label so it didn't cost me a dime. Ruger paid shipping both ways. I believe I would call and politely insist that they send me my...
It was not flame cutting, Ruger is going to fix it and Jim March is still a tool. I guess the world is back to normal.
But seriously, I'm glad to hear they are fixing you up and it was really nothing serious.
Cheers,
