    Blackie Collins Knives

My latest acquisition, a gift from a very good friend. With very few ever made, you'll be lucky to ever see one again. 154CM steel, Titanium frame with Carbon Fiber scales. Designed by Chris Caracci, Navy Seal Team 1 and 6. Six inches overall, four closed and five oz. in weight. A good friend...

I bought this one in 1967, Peep sight, no finger grooves. Have a Bushnell red dot on it now. Still shoots and functions great. Dano

    The Amazing Ruger LCR 9mm

The medicine bottle works, but it's hard to work one handed. 35mm film bottles like this: and are easy to thumb open with one hand. By placing the moon clip in as shown, you can dump straight for the bottle into the cylinder with practice. You can but these on Ebay by the dozens for next to...

    Squirrel rifles

I have 2 of the 10-22's and to be honest, don't like either one. Neither one can hold a candle to my old Rem Nylon 66. But that said, my favorite Squirrel rifle is a Henry Lever Action using .22 Shorts when I can find them. Relatively quiet and very accurate. Dano

Anyone still carry an LC9 or an EC9S?

I keep an LC9 in a BOB along with a hundred extra rounds and 4 extra mags. It's my "just in case gun". In case of what, I don't know but I have a lot more guns than sense so I don't miss it but I do trust it to function every time I pull the trigger. Dano

Scope or Red Dot for Ruger PC 9 Carbine?

I have a Sig Romeo5 on my Beretta CX9 Storm PPC and an Aimpoint Pro on one of my AR's. Both are motion activated so no fumbling for an on switch and both have battery life measured in years depending the amount of use. Personally, I like them both equally and for under 100 yard use, prefer the...

    Survival guns

My wife loved that book. I haven't got around to reading it yet. My favorite book of that type is "The Freeman" by Jerry and Sharon Ahern. Dano

    LCR/LCRx info wanted

I have 4, a 9mm, .38 and a .22 mag in LCR form and a .38 in LCRx form. All in 2inch barrel. I'd like a .357 just to even out the set. My favorite of them is the LCRx with 135 gr +P Gold Dots. Shoots like this. I actually killed a coyote with it at about 30 yards. I don't know who was surprised...
