Are the plastic Wilson Combat followers larger and tighter fitting (less loose) in the Ruger magazines than the original metal Ruger followers? Thanks.

I would like to remove and then replace the Cylinder Release Button. In order to remove Cylinder Release Button, do I unscrew the screw under the Cylinder Release Button on the outside? Thanks.

Does this look like it has surface rust? My computer is older, but it looks like light surface rust on several of the parts including the backstrap, or maybe it’s just dirty. http://ruger.com/links/auction.html

It’s a small marginal difference.The GP100 has a slightly more meat under barrel threads.

The major cost in any project is labor. The GP100 required fewer steps. Strength should be similar.

WD40 (Never had a problem using it on blued firearms.)
