Any book is a guideline, nothing more. A gun is "worth" what a buyer and seller agree it is worth. Nobody else's opinion matters at all. If somebody buys that 41 for $6400, or $64,000, then that is what it is worth to that buyer. Obviously the gun is "worth" $6400 to the seller. Whether or not...

Love my 7.5" 44 mag Bisley. Also my custom 45 Bishawk (4-5/8" Blackhawk with Bisley grip frame, Eagle stag panels).

Check the throats on your Redhawk. They may be undersized. Mine were on my Blackhawk. Had them reamed to .4525 and accuracy improved.

Favorite deer cartridge, hands down, is 7x57. Probably my favorite rifle is my M77R MkII 7x57. It has a Timney trigger and sear and wears a Leupold 2-7x33, which is also my favorite big game riflescope. That trigger breaks around a pound, and the bullet goes right to the crosswire every time...

I bought my unfired #1H 404 Jeff for $799. :) Just gotta keep eyes open and attentive.
