Okay, well, these are other Savage 99s I bought from my Godfather's widow. I reload for all of these. A 1941 pre-war Savage 99 in 300 savage. A 1981 Savage 99C series A in .308 My entire den of Savage 99's (and one 1899, bottom) in .300 S 308 W, .250 Savage, 22 HP.

Ruger guy, I didn't sand it down much, some of those dings and bruises carry history on the stock. :)

FYI I cast 240 grain and powder coat them for my 1962 Ruger 44 carbine pictured here. Since they are powder coated, there is no lead fouling that is typical with 44 carbines and lead bullets. I use TMJ bullets for my Dan Wesson 44 mag. Never tried hard cast in this revolver.

I cast my own bullets! And yes, powder coat too. I only have a 240 gr mold for 44 mag. I'd like to try a few heavier test bullets (cast) if anyone has 4 or 5 they'd like to toss in the mail. I could repay you with some fine 45-70 bullets using the Buffalo Arms money bullet in 520 grain. .459...
