    #1 - 460S&W

Exactly my point. I have several pistol caliber carbines, and love them. They are great for two legged dangerous game. I have three single shot rifles, and love them. However, I think anyone shooting a bear with a pistol caliber, 460 S&W, in a single shot rifle or otherwise should have a...

Kind of like a 45-70? Mike

    PC4 Accuracy

Moon, I'm not expecting a target rifle, but my Hi-Point carbine shoots less than half the group size at 100 yards that my PC-4 does at 25. Heck, even my $40 paint ball marker with no sights will print better groups at 25 yards. I was just wanting to know if there was any known problem areas...

    PC4 Accuracy

Went to the range today and thought I'd work my way out, short to long. Started (and finished) at 25 yards. Best group off of sand bags with a scope was right at 5". I know this isn't a target rifle, but it should shoot better than my P94. It looks to be in almost new shape. Is there any...

    PC4 Accuracy

Hi all, I just took my PC-4 to the range today. It was a police turn-in and has very little wear. I tried it with three loads at 100 yards, Federal 180 gr. flat point, Speer 165 gr. Gold Dot, and 165 gr. reloads. Shot it both with iron sights and a 4 power scope. For both my brother and...

PC4 using Glock (or XD) Mags?

I found this over on the XDTalk forum, modifying an P95 9 mm magazine to work with 40 S&W. Might be worth a try. The thread also talks about using an XD magazine in the PC-4. Mike http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/general-sa ... -mags.html "Ruger P Series pistol mags will probably work well in...

    P95?

Got mine a year ago. Our 500 rounds now and not a single failure. Mike

    P944 swing link vs. camblock

Steve, I have an older P-94 in 40 S&W with the link. I bought it used; it think it was a LE turn-in. I have about 1,500 rounds through it myself. It eats everything I feed it with never any sort of malfunction and is very accurate. I wouldn't worry about it, you've got some great guns...

    Next at the Shot Show?...

I guess they could just steal Kel-Tec's design for the PF-9 like they did for the P3A-T. I like Ruger's products, that was just not a class act. Mike

    NcStar laser for P95

I think they both have their own uses. The light to identify and illuminate the threat. The Laser for targeting. Not really mutually exclusive. Mike

    .40 vs 9mm...

I carry a 9 mm for CCW, but I think the 40 and 45 are more effective self defense rounds. Law enforcement agencies have the money and time to test various rounds and by and large they don't use the 9 mm. Here is a link that is a little different look on the effectiveness of rounds used in self...
