I've run about 500 rounds of the inexpensive bulk Golden Bullets thru my MarklV 22/45 target model.
No malfunctions of any kind.
I also clean it after each session.
Did some shooting today. I've now put a total of 200 rounds thru it (Security 9 Compact) with Blazer Brass and Magtech 115 gr. FMJ.
Happy to report no malfunctions of any kind so far.
Just purchased one from a LGS. $312 out the door. It looks & feels hefty. I like the small size with a 10+1 capacity. It's fairly lightweight and flat plus it carries nicely concealed inside the waist. I'll be firing it for the first time shortly stoked with Blazer 115gr. FMJ.
I recently purchased a Security9 compact and contacted Ruger to ask if 9mm+P ammo could be used. Here's their reply:

Fired about 50 rounds of Federal and 50 rounds Golden Bullets today out of my Mark IV Target.
This gun is recently acquired and now has about 300 rounds shot of each of the brands mentioned above...with no malfunctions whatsoever.
This Mark IV replaces a small, lightweight semi-auto I recently sold. The differences (weight, sight radius, recoil etc.) are significant. I'll be trying different types of 22 ammo to see which ones I may avoid. So far the the inexpensive Golden Bullets are fine. As for modifications I've only...
Took my newly acquired Mark IV out to desert today. Perfect weather, about 80 degrees with no wind. Ran about 75 rounds thru it with no hiccups whatsoever. I fed it Remington Golden Bullets. This gun should be a keeper...it's a joy to shoot.
I had a similar gun, a bull barrel Buckmark that was a real tack driver.
This MKIV is replacing a small, lightweight Walther .22 I've been using for target shooting. The short barrel and light weight Walther makes it extremely difficult to hit a 10" gong at 25yards +
Should have the Ruger Friday.
Since I didn't get a reply on this Board I messaged Ruger directly. That was Friday. Today (Monday), I got Ruger's reply (great customer service for sure):
"Thank you for contacting Ruger Customer Service.
